These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and facilities at KC Storage. By booking a unit through our website or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Booking and Payments

  • All storage unit bookings must be made online through our website or directly with KC Storage staff.
  • Full payment (or the first instalment, if on a subscription plan) is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
  • Recurring payments will be processed automatically based on the agreed billing cycle.
  • You agree to keep your payment information current and authorize us to charge your account for recurring payments.

2. Access to Your Storage Unit

  • Access is available during posted hours
  • You are responsible for securing your unit with your own padlock.
  • KC Storage reserves the right to deny access or change the locks on your unit in the event of non-payment or breach of these terms.
  • Access will be restored once all outstanding balances are paid in full.

3. Termination and Cancellations

  • You may cancel your booking before the move-in date for a full refund (unless otherwise stated).
  • After move-in, we require 7 days’ notice to cancel your rental.
  • KC Storage reserves the right to terminate your rental agreement for:
    • Violation of these terms
    • Non-payment
    • Illegal or unsafe activity
  • If you fail to pay on time, KC Storage may restrict access, change the lock, and ultimately dispose of contents in accordance with applicable laws.

4. Customer Responsibilities

By using our facility, you agree to:

  • Not store hazardous, illegal, perishable, or flammable materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the rented unit and surrounding area.
  • Use the unit only for storage purposes, not for residence, operation of a business, or any unauthorized activity.
  • Secure your own insurance, if desired. KC Storage does not provide insurance for stored items.

5. Liability Disclaimer

  • KC Storage is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to any items stored, unless caused by our gross negligence.
  • You use our services and facility at your own risk.
  • We are not responsible for delays, outages, or unavailability due to maintenance, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Privacy

Your personal data is collected and used in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. We do not sell your data and take security seriously.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes shall be handled in local courts of jurisdiction.
